Founded in 2015, Even Financial, a NYC based FinTech company, is the leading search, comparison and recommendation engine for financial services. Even provides essential infrastructure for financial institutions and channel partners (e.g. TransUnion,, The Penny Hoarder, MoneyUnder30, Empower, Tally) to connect consumers with personalized products (including loans, deposits and more), utilizing its robust yet simple API. Even is proven to lower the cost of acquisition, improve monetization, monitor compliance and deliver transparency at scale. The Even platform serves as a trusted intermediary for financial institutions – including Prosper, Sofi, Lending Club, and Marcus by Goldman Sachs – that finds consumers through its vast network of channel partners and distributes their products digitally.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly motivated Business Development professional with demonstrated success cultivating and closing deals to drive new online partnerships. In this role, you will leverage your connections with performance marketers, affiliate marketers, publishers, personal finance apps and other media companies to help scale Even’s marketplace.


● Effectively communicate EVEN Financial’s value proposition to current and prospective partners

● Identify, negotiate, and close new partnership opportunities for online lead acquisition deals

● Contact and engage cold prospects via phone and email

● Qualify and respond to inbound lead requests from potential partners

● Follow through with all aspects of the sales cycle – from initial prospecting, managing internal communication, reviewing and approving deal terms, to contract drafting and execution

● Leverage your existing network of digital media publishers, performance marketers and others to drive incremental consumer traffic and revenue to the Even Financial Marketplace

● Help evaluate new business opportunities, analyze competitors, and lead proposal/face-to-face negotiations to win new business

● Utilize Salesforce to maintain a high-value account pipeline status and create weekly performance and opportunity reporting to SVP Business Development

● Work with cross functional teams including Product, Compliance, Engineering, Analytics, and Partner Solutions to identify and engage partners to grow both distribution, revenue, and product capabilities

● Update and create partnership proposals and decks

● Prepare written presentations, reports, and pricing proposals


● 4 years online business development and affiliate marketing experience, preferably related to fintech

● Knowledge of all forms of on-line marketing distribution programs, including PPC, Partnerships, Email, Display, CPA, CPV

● Strong understanding of ad technology, performance marketing, and digital publishing business models

● Demonstrated track record of effective deal negotiations and various deal structures including, CPM, CPA, RevShr, CPC and CPL models

● Verifiable network of existing decision maker and executive level relationships at key partner companies

● Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed new business revenue targets

● Data-driven mindset and prior experience regularly analyzing partner ROI and performance

● Strong written and verbal communication skills

● Excellent presentation skills

● Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint skills required

● Self-motivated, driven, and passionate about partner relationships
